in Wholesome Baby Food Guide there was a recipe for banana and avocado which sounded fun, like a pina colada. in the level of sweetness, apple sauce is as sweet as a banana and avocado has a more bland flavor but due to its fat content, creates a more creamy texture.
k enjoyed this combination a lot which lets me know that when i introduce her to banana, she’ll enjoy that as well!
sticking to the less sweet vegetables and fruits, we decided the next item to feed k is the avocado.
during the first two years of the baby’s life, fat is important for baby’s brain development so avocado is a good choice.
it has monounsaturated fats, which are considered as healthy fats as well as omega-3 fatty acids.
